First a word of thanks to all for helping me out as I am gingerly
trying the move to bifocals. Picked up my new pair of bifocals today
at a Lenscrafters near me that did a great job a few years back on
3 pairs of single focus glasses (hope I got that term right), and yes
I'm having trouble adjusting. Leaving aside for the moment the question
of getting progressives (I need to make sure the prescription is correct
before I give that a try), are the FT 35s more difficult to get used to?
I was surprised, but apparently my Lenscrafters doesn't do FT.28s, which
I've heard are the most popular size. I feel like I don't have enough
room to see without hitting that line both when I'm looking at the
TV or walking around and when I'm reading.
