I have a small face and the usual frames are too wide. Does anyone in
the UK make smaller frames for adults?

It doesn't matter were the frames are made, virtually all of them are
imported (unless you live in certain countries). You should be able easily
be able to find the frame you want if you find a retailer with a decent
selection. In addition, most frames come in multiple different sizes, so if
you find one you like, but want a smaller size, ask the retailer if it comes
in a different size. If your optician claims that none of their frames come
in different sizes, or refuses to special order the size you want, go
    elsewhere.

They don't... all the frames come in 48/18 at the smallest and it's
too big for me. It might be different in the US but I'm talking UK
here. I have heard just now heard that Takeo Kikuchi frames come
smaller but I have yet to hear how much they cost!

No they don't looking on my frame bars for adults I have frames ranging from
58/20 down to 42/18 if you then take teenagers/childrens frames smallest is
    36eye.
Most frames sold in the UK and certainly in the multiples come from the far
    east
specifically China and Korea. The better quality come from Japan, France,
    Italy,
Geramny and Austria. ( UK frame manufacturing collapsed years ago like the
    rest of
    UK manufacturing!).

When you go to select your frame ask to speak to either the Optometrist or
    the Dispensing
Optician (a lot of the multiples use 'frame stylists' who basically are
    often as much use
as a chocolate fireguard). Another tip try a lot of designer ranges tend to
    be
available in a good selection of colours but often in one size only.

Shop around the size you want is out there.

Cool. Shame your shop is not near me or I'd be there tomorrow. I've
trawled round all the shops where I live and found nothing. Will
maybe do a trip to London next.
