Grey stuff interfering with my vision

Hi, I'm 20, male, from Serbia (so you have to pardon my poor English),
and this is the first time for me to post here.

Anyway, I've been having this problem (annoyance) with my vision,
well, I don't know for how long, possibly even from the birth. The
problem is that I constantly see several grey dots, strings, and
various shapes "in front of my eyes". They are more intense when I
look at bright surfaces, and it moves whenever I look in other
direction - basically, it's always there no matter where I look. I can
focus it to a certain degree, but I cannot center "it" in my vision.

I've been to an ophtamologist (sp???) when I was 11, but even though
several doctors checked my eyes and hooked me up on many machines,
they were unable to find out what it was, and they were even thinking
that it might even be a psychological (sp?!) problem. Anyway, I didn't
go to the shrink and the doctors said they never seen anything like
    that.

I've been wondering what that might be, but it was before the Internet
era so I had no easy way of finding out. Now, after many years, I'm
still seeing those grey things, and I think it's getting stronger
though I learned to live with it. Interesting how I never thought of
looking it up on the Net, but I'm doing it now anyway... And I hope
this "mistery" will be resolved for me...

So, anyone... Any idea? Anyone with similar condition?

    Thanks!
