    Hello,

Is time now for new pair of eyeglasses and after shopping and
researching a bit I ended leaning towards the Silhouette titanium
rimless/no ringes frame with the best lens available for my
    prescription.

    -5.50 -2.00 x 017
    -5.75 -2.50 x 170

First option would be hi-index 1.74 but there in no one with
transitions yet, plus I believe there is some discussion about low
ABBE index and the lenses getting yellowish or braking (or spider
lines) after some time in the tension points.

My second option are the same hi-index 1.67 so I could get
transitions, but the concerns are the same above.

Thirty would be Trivex, but I am kind concerned with thickness.

Can you folks please give me some advice? Any suggestions ?

Will this combo frame/lens be ok in my prescription?

  2. 1.67 is the best choice imo, it is quite a good fit for the rx and for
    rimless, and is available transitions.
much less prone to cracking than 1.74 in a rimless frame.
