Help: Sty Surgery?

    I had an internal sty on my right upper eyelid 2 months ago. After
    warm compress, it went away but left a pimple (about 5mm diameter) on
    the eyelid. I feel the pimple gives my eye press which make me
    uncomfortable recently, so I saw an optometrist yeasterday. She
    suggested me to massage the eyelid to help the pimple disappear. If
    not, I 'll need a surgery but the surgery will leave scar of stitches
    on the eyelid.

    Does anyone have experience of a sty surgery? Is this true? Do I need
    to see an ophthalmologist?

    BTW, I got confused with those names "optometrist" &
    "ophthalmologist". How are those two term used in Canada? If I need to
    see an ophthalmologist, how can I find one?
