Help with new Glasses Perscription

    Hi

    I've been wearing glasses on and off for the best part of 30 years - more
    off lately. Recently I got my eyes checked and had the following
    prescription prescribed

    R: F +0.75 -.0.50 175*
    L: F +2.50 -1 10*

    (My left eye is not very good)

    when I wear my specs now everything looks like it is in Bold, and not as
    sharp as not wearing my glasses. If I cover my left eye everything looks
    great, but if I cover my right eye things are better but not sharp.
    How long should it take for my left eye to tune into the new glasses?
    previously I put new glasses on and everything was fine.

    any ideas?

    Too many years out I'm afraid.
    That's a useful skill to have although breaking even is no good in the
    long run.
