Hot deposited optometric AR coating source?

It is time for me to get new glasses. I would like glass lenses with
antireflection (magnesium fluoride) coatings deposited on hot glass.
While it is possible to obtain glass lenses, hot deposited coatings for
eyeglasses seem to be impossible to obtain.

I like the optical quality and scratch resistance of glass. Magnesium
fluoride deposited on sufficiently hot glass can produce an extremely
hard and tenacious coating that will be resistant to rubbing. The
problem is that dispensing opticians don't seem to know about such
    coatings.

Question: Is it possible to find a supplier of such eyeglass coatings in
    the Los Angeles area? Where?

If money were no object, there are coating houses that serve the optical
(not optometric) industry with various thin-film coatings. But for me, I
am not ready to spend the hundreds of dollars or more to get such
    coatings.
