I think I want to switch to Focus Night & Days. Good idea?

I guess only me and my eye doctor can answer this, but any suggestions?

I've been wearing contact lenses for almost 4 months now, Acuvue 2.
They are great, but I wish I could wake-up in the morning seeing perfect
and I wish I could wear them to bed at night, not having to worry about
    taking them out.

Do I have any concerns about possibly switching to Focus Night & Day?
Not really. I'm concerned about how much my eye doctor will charge me,
but kidding aside, it would be worth it. Focus Night & Days do not seem
too expensive to me especially when you factor in how much you save on
lens solution. I am spending a lot of money on lens solution now.

Should I wait until there are other brands available in America to
ensure I get the best for my particular eyes? I could drive to a doctor
in Mexico for my fittings and get Purevision, but that would be a lot of
    driving multiple times. haha.

Finally, would it be a big mistake if I changed eye doctors if I decide
to go and try Focus Night & Day? I realize I'd have to go through an
entire eye exam again, but my doctor has a private practice and unless
it is a follow-up or problem, he will not see you for 5-6 weeks. I'd
like to go to a chain, one by me says I can pretty much pick the date
and time, doctor seems nice too. Then again, it would be nice to go
back to my doctor and simply walk in and walk out with the new lenses,
although usually a 1 hour waiting room wait is required. haha.

I need to become a doctor and fit my own lenses! It would be fun to try
them all! How many of the doctors out there have tried just about all
the lenses in their office? haha.
