I'll go and ask my optometrist for the Proclear Compatibles with the
8.2mm Base Curve, what you say does make sense, and thanks you for the
    advice !
Is there another steep fitting disposable lens which might be able to
fit my eyes, besides the proclear compatibles? If there is, please
post, so that i'll approach to my optometrist and ask him for a trial.

Still, I have a question left- When i wore the 1-day Acuvue lens, the
lens rubbed against my eyelids, and this created an uncomfortable
feeling throughout the whole day, every time i blinked , and
especially as the day went on! I also experienced the same with the
Proclear Compatibles although with the proclears it was less worse
than with the Acuvue, Can you please explain why i felt that while
wearing the lenses (what's the cause of the problem) and how can i
    overcome it ?

    Thanks, in advance, Tom.

Most likely explanation is drying or coating of the lens, you can overcome
it by using rewetting drops or by trying various other lenses until you find
one (if it exists) that works with your tear quality.
