For the docs here. Is AOSept the same as ClearCare? Both are hydrogen
peroxide based, and use the same basket. I've been using ClearCare, but
did run into some AOSept and was wondering if it is the same or similar.

Similar but not the same. ClearCare contains a surfactant cleaning agent
along with the hydrogen peroxide/saline based solution. Built in
    cleaner.

AOSept use requires separate rub on and rinse off cleaner.

It is my understanding that it Clear Care is just a re-branding effort
in order to compete with the current no rub solutions. When one thinks
about the word "AOSept", for some reason, people think that it's a
    1980's product.

The Clear Care product now uses the words "no rub". What is sad about
this though is that Ciba is having factory issues and you can't get
these products anywhere except for e-bay! Crazy - I never realized
that I was so vulnerable to a manufacturer.

I was told that a factory in Canada (I think it was) had its production
line contaminated by one person making a mistake and the result was that
the whole factory had to be shut down and disinfected piece by piece.
The result: months out of action, and months behind on their worldwide
    solution production.

I bet that employee received some heavy counselling.
