I never read the site but I recall there being a site listing the
dangers of LASIK, maybe I got the wrong site. Anyhow, I would ask
your LASIK doctor what the side effects are and everything. I would
also notice if he wears glasses or if he had the procedure done on
himself. That may give you an idea of what permanent state you are
    getting into.

I have and still go to Washington University in St. Louis. Founded in
1853, first school named after President Washington, tuition nearly
$40,000 a year. My current GPA is 3.95 (I have only received one B in
the last 4 years in college).

You should ask for a refund.

My own university? I do not go to U of Washington (a state school), I
go to Washington University in St. Louis (private), www.wustl.edu,
that is an insult. If you want to see the rankings go to
www.usnews.com and then click on education and then go to the college
listings. You will see that we are rated #12 (National Universities),
    tied with U of Chicago.

I'm sorry but that was quite the insult.

How can I ask for a refund and why would I? I'm getting a wonderful
education here. Where did you attend?

Also, I'm getting free tuition due to my merit, how about you?

What do you expect when someone basis his esteem on the reputation of others
(i.e. the school he attends) or the perception of others (i.e. us)? The
funny thing is that this guy is going to suffer from an inferiority complex
anytime he has a conversation with anyone who went to Harvard, Duke, or
    Stanford.

That post, which is about as limp of a playground challenge as I've ever
heard, reveals one of two things: Either you have terrible self-esteem
issues, or you hold the premise that earning a scholarship to a particular
school inherently makes one omnipotent about whatever subject he or she
    cares to discuss.

Well it should be because she never looked at the website but only
    made an erroneousness assumption.

No it isn't true. I never came here for the prestige, I came here
because it would be more of a challenge. Which of course it is but I
am still able to maintain nearly a 4.0 GPA.
