    Hello,
Just started experiencing this yesterday at work.
Wasn't doing anything unusual - staring at computer
screen as usual, then experienced a little pain
in left eye when I close the eyelid.

If I move my left eyes around, don't feel any pain,
only feel this when closing the eyelid.

    What could be the cause?

There was no redness or swelling yesterday. Today
I see a few lines (vessels), but it's not pink
    or anything.

    Any ideas?

    THANK YOU

Sure, stop moving your left eye around with your eyelid closed.....the bills in the mail. :>)

I'm no doctor, but had I the same symptoms although the pain got worse
before I decided to go to the doctor. It was diagnosed as a corneal ulcer.
I'd recommend seeing your optemetrist or opthamologist right away.
