How painful this life for me, I can't explain to you. But it's sure

name I want to tell you that please take a moment to read this message.
With a great hope I wrote this message to you. Please don't ignore

Dear I am Lieutenant Zia Hyder, recently retired from Bangladesh Navy.
Later in this page you will know more about me. Presently I am
paralyzed Chest down below. How painful this life for me, I can't
explain to you. But it's sure at least those people will understand
how painful it is whose bother, sister or child is unlucky like me. I

Dear I was admitted in Dhaka Combined Military Hospital of Bangladesh
with a disease of incontinence urine flow and as a military officer for
better treatment. And discharged with most disaster able disability.
Till today I can't took it normally. Initially after investigation
suddenly they found a tumor in my back bone. The doctor say's it's
a minor operation. So after hearing this I went under surgery of that
doctor. But it's unlucky for me the operation didn't go well. As a
result I had to face most desastereble disability paralyzed chest down
below. So after that I went Bangkok General Hospital of Thailand. Their
diagnosis is that from T5 spine level to down below one Anterior blood
vessel is missing which feeds spinal cord to run and it's a
consequence of sugary. But they couldn't do this treatment, so I had
to return back to my country. After that I had contacted many doctors
from various countries. And I got many good replies from them. After
comparing all those replies I choose a doctor whose name is Dr. Prem k
Pilly. He is chief consultant neurosurgeon of Singapore Mount Elizabeth
Hospital. He told that it has good hope to recover and its better
treatment in USA but costly there. He also told that he will do Omental
Grafting of that Anterior Spinal blood vessel. So considering my
economical condition I choose to do it in Singapore but it will need

Dear I don't have much money to do this operation. So I need your
kind help. Please help me as your Muslim brother. By any means if you
help me I will be ever grateful to you. I know the message is big but

My profile: I am Lieutenant Zia Hyder recently retired from
Bnagladesh Navy...I born in the year 1977(age-27 years)....After
crossing Class Six I got admission in a higher secondary military
institution namely FOUJDARHAT CADET COLLEGE( most famous higher
secondary institution in Bangladesh). So after passing A level
equivalent education from Foujdarhat Cadet College I joined BANGLADESH
NAVY to serve proudly for my country as well as to take the share of my
families poor economical condition. So on 14th December 1999
successfully I got commissioned from Bangladesh Naval Academy. There
after I served several ship of Bangladesh Navy specially Bangladesh
Navy Ship Abu Bakr, Ali Haider, Shaheed SR Amin etc.I got watch keeping
certificate for running a ship in the year 2002.I did various courses
specially on Navigation at sea, Communication at sea, Neuclear
Biological and Chemical including fire fighting, Air orientation,
Torpedo anti submarine etc.

Mejor Contributions during stay onboard ship:

1. In 2001 captured 12 no. of smuggled TV when serving on board BNS
Ali Haider.
2. When Serving on board BNS SR Amin In June 2002 captured 447 ton
Urea Fertilizer with 19 smuggler and 3 in no. power handled large
country boat.)

On board same ship in August 2002 captured various smuggling goods with
few smugglers.

NOW I WANT TO SAY WHAT HAPPEN TO ME------ I WENT
THROUGH AN OPERATION TO REMOVE A TUMOR FROM MY SPINE (D12-L2) AT
COMBINED MILITARY HOSPITAL (CMH) DHAKA ON APR 22 2003 . BUT
UNFORTUNATELY THE OPERATION DID NOT GO WELL AND FROM THE LEVEL OF T5 I
GOT TOTAL PARAPLEGIA.


SHORT DETAILS OF MY PROBLEM- ON 8TH MARCH 2003 I
ADMITTED IN COMBINED MILITARY HOSPITAL (CMH) DHAKA WITH HAEMATURIA AND
PAIN IN THE LOWER ABDOMEN. INITIALLY IT WAS TREATED AS UTI. THEN AFTER
TWO DAYS THE PAIN HAS GONE OFF. BUT AFTER THAT I HAD INCONTINENCE
OVERFLOW OF URINE AND VERY LITTLE WEAKNESS OF LEFT LOWER LIMB. SO IN
HOSPITAL I UNDERWENT VARIOUS CLINICAL EXAMINATION AND RADIOLOGICAL
INVESTIGATION LIKE MCU, IVU AND CT SEAN BRAIN BUT PROBLEM NOT
CONCLUSIVE. THEN MRI OF SPINE WAS DONE WHICH REVEALED A SPINAL TUMOR AT
D12-L2 LEVEL. SO FOR THIS PROBLEM THE CONCERN NEUROSURGEON WAS
SCHEDULED AN EMERGENCY OPERATION ON 23/4/2004... AFTER OPERATION THE
SURGICAL DOCTORS VIEW HAS GIVEN BELOW----



"A LAMINECTOMY OF D12 L2 WAS DONE IN PRONE POSITION UNDER GA.
EXCISION OF INTRADURAL TUMOR AT D12 L2 POSITION 7.5X3.5 CM SIZED
ROUNDED TUMOR WITH WIDE ATTACHMENT AT TERMINAL CONUS AND CONTINUOUS
WITH FILUM TERMINALE, WAS DONE AS PIECEMEAL PROCEDURE MICROSCOPICALLY.
A FISH FLESH LOOKING SOFT VASCULAR TUMOR WAS REMOVED TOTALLY. THE
ARTERIAL FEEDER WAS FROM BELOW,. AFTER SALINE AND TO HYDROGEN PEROXIDE
IRRIGATION THE DURA WAS CLOSED. SURGICAL WOUND WAS CLOSED WITH A NON
PRESSURE CLOSED DRAIN. An ANTIBIOTIC, ANALGESIC, DEXAMETHASONE AND
RENISONE WAS GIVEN. THE PATIENT DEVELOPED TOTAL HAEMATURIA IN THE
POSTOPERATIVE EVENING WITH EPISODE OF HYPOTENTION. HE DEVELOPED
PARAPLEGIA WITH ABSENT OF ALL TYPES OF SENSORY MODALITIES FROM D6. AND
THE HAEMATURIA. DO CLEAR BY MIDNIGHT. BUT PARAPLEGIA WITH LOSS OF ALL
SENSORY MODALITIES AT D6 LEVEL BILOW DO PERSIST. WITH A SUSPICION OF
EPIDURAL HAEMATOMA OR A SECOND TUMOR AT D4/D5 LEVEL AN EMERGENCY MRI
WAS DONE WHICH WAS NORMAL. A SECOND AND THIRD REPEAT MRI WAS ALSO DONE
BUT THE RESULT DO REMAINED NOT CONCLUSIVE."

HYSTOPATHOLOGICAL EXAMINATION OF THE TUMOR SUGGESTED SCHWANOMA
(MENINGIOMA)...SO AS THE CAUSE OF PARAPLEGIA COULD NOT BE S0LVED. THEN
ON 01 JULY 2003 I WENT BANGKOK HOSPITAL IN THAILAND TO GOT THE MEDICAL
TREATMENTS TO RECTIFY THE SITUATION. THE HOSPITAL FORMED A BOARD
COMPRISING NEUROLOGIST, NEUROSURGEON AND PATHOLOGIST. SO WITH THEIR
PRESCRIPTION MRI OF SPINE, CSF STUDY AND SPINAL ANGIOGRAPHIES WAS DONE.
WITH THAT THEY CAME UP WITH A MEDICAL REPORT WHICH IS NOT
CONCLUSIVE...THEIR MEDICAL ASSESMENT ARE GIVEN BELOW ---.

1) POST-OP MENINGIOMA: TUMOR WAS REMOVED FROM D-12 TO L2-
PARAPLEGIC LEVEL OF T5.IF IT IS THE ONLY MENINGIOMA, IT WILL NOT
EXPLAIN THE FINDINGS OF INTERMEDUALLARY MRI ABNORMALLITIES.

2) SPINAL ANGIOGRAM EVALUATION ABSENT ANTERIOR SPINAL
ARTERY DOWN FROM T6 TO CONUS. IT IS NOT TREATABLE CAUSE BY THEM.

3) TRANSVERSE MYELITIES WITH ACUTE DEMYLINALING NEUROPATHY IS THE
MOST LIKELY LESION DUE TO ABSENCE OF NERVE RESPONSES AND HIGH CSF
PROTEIN (BY CSF STUDY PROTEIN LEVEL 1212), OLIGOCLONAL BANDS IN CSF IS
POSITIVE BUT ABSENT IN SERUM. SO FOR THIS CAUSE THEY SUGGESTED TO GIVE
I, V, IG INFUSION 400 MG/KG/DAY FOR FIVE DAYS.

4) FINALY-------AT THE END OF REPORT THEY COMMENTED STILL THE
SITUATION UNEXPLAINED.

INDEED, FOR ME IT IS VERY HEART RENDERING MEDICAL ASSESSMENT PROVIDED
BY THE BANGKOK HOSPITAL. NEUROLOGIST AND NEUROSURGON OF BANKOK HOSPITAL
RECOMMENDED A COURSE OF IMMUNOGLOBULINE G HUMAN INJECTION ALONG WITH
METHYLEPEDRISILONE. SO I WAS GIVEN IMMUNOGLOBULINS WITH METHYLEPREDISL
ONE CYCLE 1 AND 2 AT DHAKA COMBINED MILITARY HOSPITAL ON 14 SEPT 2003
AND 19 OCT 2003 RESPECTIVELY FOLLOWED BY CSF AND MRI STUDY IN 08 WEEKS
TIME. BOTH THE STUDY DOES NOT SHOWED ANY CLINICAL AND RADIOLOGICAL
IMPROVEMENT. CSF PROTEIN REMAINED HIGH (600) BUT LESS THEN EARLIER
STUDY. REPEATED MRI STUDY SHOWED THERE IS MULTIPLE CYSTIC DEGENERATION
IN THE SPIRAL CORD. CLINICALLY THERE IS NO IMPROVEMENT. BUT NOWADAYS I
AM FEELING LITTLE MORE INTERNAL BURNING SENSATION AT MY LOWER LIMB. AND
THERE IS NO STRUCTURAL CHANGE AT MY LOWER LIMB BECAUSE OF PARAPLEGIA
NOW I AM CONTINUING WITH ONLY PHYSIOTHERAPY. AFTER DISCUSSING ALL THE
REPORTS TILL THE LAST REPORT THE DOCTORS STILL COULD NOT GIVE A CLEAR
DIAGNOSIS RESULT OF MY PRESENT CONDITION.

MY REQUEST--------I WOULD BE GRATEFUL IF YOU ASK ME MORE DETAILS
OF MY MEDICAL CASE HISTORY... PLEASE PROVIDE ME YOUR VALUABLE
SUGGESTIONS OR RECOMMENDATIONS CONSIDERING MY YOUNG AGE.

means..thatswhy i gave it here...may be i will get a doctor here for a
advice...Or may be some one will advice me source of treatment...So for
