I am 53 years old and I have been using one monovision contact lens instead of reading glasses. I wear it in my left eye. I have been happily doing this for about 3 years. Recently my ex husband said he thought my left eye was LOTS bigger than the right (I discounted this statement thinking "pfffft~~ does he never tire of putting me down??") BUT then later I saw some photos taken of me and dang if it doesn't seem true--that my left eyeball is larger and more pronounced than my right. ---I will start wearing regular glasses to avoid this discrepancy if need be (although my monovision contact is NICE for convenience, I started doing it because I hate how I look in glasses but one very pronounced eye is certainly goofier than eyeglasses!!) what do you think???? have you heard of this at all?? thanks!
Have you tried looking in the mirror? This would be better than looking at a photo. Mike has answered your question from the professional angle, but I thought that I would add that some people switch from glasses to contacts because contacts do *not* distort the size of the eye as much.
