Yes, some students prefer to not get stair-case myopia from an over-
    prescribed minus.

They simply read their Snellen, use the plus scientifically, and clear
their Snellen and always pass the DMV required legal test with flying
    colors.

    Here is the statement:

But, then no majority-opinion OD was invovled.

He was just wise enough to take personal and scientific responsibilty.

Not easy, but WISE. Tragically, most people do not "care" or are not
    that wise.

    Prevention best,

As always, then, you -- by implication -- continue to assert that your
niece, Joy Benson, is lazy, irresponsible, and unwise ... since ...
with your "avuncular tutelage," she's still a myope:

    Is that nice?

    Is that fair?

Is that what family does?? Maybe your method simply didn't work?

And, by the way, Otis ... why were YOU unable to do anything about
YOUR 6d of myopia ... other than have cataract surgery, that is?

I mean ... IS the eye "dynamic," as you say it is, or isn't it, and --
if it is -- then why couldn't you change YOUR Rx through non-surgical
    means?

    Hmmmm.
