Please Help Me...I have a strange vision problem...

Discussion in 'Eye-Care' started by Mr_Mysterious, Jan 9, 2004.

  1. I have a problem with my vision, My nose and part of my eye sockets,
are more noticeable than they should be. I don't know what the cause
of this is, or what exactly you could name this problem. But I think
my eyes must be turning inward slightly.
It is extremely annoying to see my nose and sides of eye socket's like
this, I am definetley not imaginging it. I don't know what has caused
it. I haven't had it all my life.
It's really really upsetting me, I need to fix it, I'm fighting off
suicidal feelings as it is, If I can't fix this then I don't know if
there's much point in carrying on because it's just too iritating.
Please tell me what this is, what's caused it and what i can do to
    correct it.
    Thank you.

  2. But where did you study these symptoms?
You must have a very wicked mind!

Perhaps you can try with a gun pointed to the center of your forehead
    and push, who knows?

You may feel alone and unable to cope, but there are caring people available
    to help you.

Please see your doctor, call an emergency help line or go to the nearest
emergency room right now and tell them how overwhelmed and suicidal you
    feel.

Thyroid disorder, pituitary disorders, depression, obsessive compulsive
disorders and other general health problems can be a cause of suicidal
feelings. They can also cause you to become anxious about and abnormally
aware of otherwise normal things like seeing the side of your nose.

Please, Mr_Mysterious, seek help right now, although your problems may seem
unsurmountable to you, help is only a call away.

Please be aware of the "specialist knowledge" about eyes and vision.
The official science is still in the Middle Ages.

  6. Please help. ever since I read the replies which basically just
laughed at me and told me I had no problem or didn't really tell me
how to solve this, my suicidal feelings have returned. I don't want to
die but If you can't help me I will. In the next few days too, I'm not
saying this to put pressure on you, it's the truth, If I think there
is no hope for fixing this then I will.
You can email me if you want at
    Thanks.

There's a saying that nobody can tell that you are a dog on the internet.
There are some helpful people on this group. There are other people here
who have all the answers, except that their answers are mostly wrong.
There are people like myself who are helpful but don't know much, and are
    here mostly to learn.

The people on this group with the most knowledge are generally not willing
to diagnose problems over the internet. They are used to getting paid for
their professional work, they like to see (ObVision) their patients in
person and they need their specialized equipment.

I would strongly suggest that you seek professional help. I find this
newsgroup invaluable in understanding my vision problems, but it is only a
supplement to my visiting my doctors in person.

Hey dude, who the hell do you think you are ?
What the **** have you learned being on this planet ? Nothing ?
How old are you ? 9 years old ?

What is this (emotional) blackmail shit ?
    You will never do that.
    Grow up, instead.
    So, it is ! Gee.
    Think what you want.

Listen, grow up and be intelligent. This is not the way to
ask for help. This is only a childish way to behave.

If you need help or have questions go ahead, but
don't do that stupid threats because doing so shows
only that whatever answer you will get you won't
    listen nor do.

Tell us, i'm curious, in which way would you commit
    suicide ?

That's pretty sad, that people will post abuse to someone who is depressed.

I have known three people recently who have commited suicide. It's
    frankly depressing me a bit (don't worry, I'm a stable person). I know a
fourth who failed, but not through lack of effort. In another newsgroup,
there was a goodbye suicide note posted. Fortunately, he was a long-time
poster and several people knew his real name (he used it to post with) and
his location. They called law enforcement in the town and I believe that
they literally saved his life. It was very inspiring.

I wish that I could help you, Mysterious, but there is nothing I can do
except offer my online support. I would urge you to rethink your
options. Suicide creates a lot of sadness, anger and feelings of
helplessness in those who are left behind.

Agreed. I too have wanted to say something, but have struggled with the
words. Suicide is a very real threat, I have been depressed myself, but
my doctor says because I never went through with it, Im obviously not
    that depressed.

Where was I? Oh yes, its a very real threat, and I hope the original
poster, Mysterious, isn't using it lightly. For anyone to post abuse
back to anyone who is threatening that well, its totally despicable. My
full support goes out to Mysterious. I dont know what he can do, I am
not qualified in that regard. But I would imagine the first step is see
a doctor, before its too late.

I dont know what else to say to be frank.

    These are the posts.

    Read carefully the last message.

Do you really think that this guy is going to commit suicide ?

If he does, then I am wrong.

    Suicide is a serious matter.
