I have been struggling with my vision for awhile now. The last eye doctor wouldn't listen to me. I went back to her 4 times and she kept telling me my glasses were fine. I finally found an eye doctor who figured out my problem. I have presbyopia in only my right eye. Dr, gave me a low script though for my left eye as well because said I wouldn't be able to see correctly with correction for only one eye.

I was doing well until a couple of months ago when I started struggling to read again. I went back and he checked my eyes. My right eyes is worst again. New script:

He wants me to go to a neurologist to be checked out. He thinks my migraines might be causing damage. He also mentioned MS. I don't have any other symptoms so I ruled this out. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Does anyone have any advice for me?

    Hi DeAnna,

Thats an interesting case. My question to you though would be is it age related presbyopia? Would you be open to any type of surgery?

I have seen similar situations with patients. usually solutions are having a separate pair for reading, using contact lenses (monovision correction).

The difficulty with your prescription is your cyl or astigatism otherwise you could have probrably just used reading glasses.

A visal field test is also good to do before you go to see the neurologist.

    Regards,
