Hi guys, Thanks everyone for replying to my previous post. It appears that the problem was indeed with the frames and the shape of the lenses. My optometrist said that my old glasses have very flat lenses, but the new ones follow a more rounded line. He straightened the frame so that it doesn't round my face as much, and he drastically increased the angle between the earpieces and the rest of the frame (the angle that you can see from the side). He said these changes basically achieved the effect of my old glasses. He also mentioned that my brain got used to the flat lenses, but that it's wrong and they don't do it anymore. I don't know if it's really such an outdated way of doing things, the glasses are only three years old. But the irritating blur is gone now, and when I look at myself in the mirror I'm no longer subtly distorted, so I'm happy. Thanks everyone again for your replies. ~Ally
