    Hi,

I had an accident and the air-bag came out. My eyes were fine, but
I went to the emergency room and they dictated that I had traumatic
    Iritis.
They put me the drop Homatropine Ipsoto 2% during 3 days. It has been
2 weeks already and I have one pupil much bigger than the other. My
    ophthalmologist
says that after the accident that may happen and I will be like that
for the rest of my life and no surgery or any treatments are possible.
Do you know any specialist/treatment/possible cure for that? Do you
    know if acupunture may help?

Any help will be really appreciated.

    Thanks very much in advance.

There's a possibility you may have suffered traumatic mydriasis
    (assuming that
the dilation effect is not due to the medications). Was your pupil
    initially larger
before the homatropine usage? If so, it could very well be traumatic
    mydriasis.

There is a surgical procedure for this problem but I've been told
    there's usually
a wait time to see if there is any recovery. And from what I
    understand it is a tricky
procedure and not many opthalmologists actually do the surgery.
    Acupuncture would not
    be of any help.
