Redness in Upper Eyelid (across whole eylid)

i have redness in upper eyelid across the whole eylid, that is a very,
very dark red color...we have gotten things ranging from popped blood
vessels....to tumors...........what you think it is?

I'm wondering whether you read the doctor's response. To wit:

"Onset? Duration? Precipitating events? Inflammation? Crusts or scales?
Pain?
Itch? Response to pressure? Distributed at the lid margin, generalized,
localized? Sharp edges or feathered?"

He was simply asking you if you could provide any other details that might
make a rough guess possible. I would think you should be able to answer a
few of these questions . . . . .

 

Could be a bruise, could be a tumour, could be infection. You will need to
have a doctor (either eye doctor or family doctor) take a look at the actual
redness to determine what it is.
