    Hi all:

Recieved today in the (junk)mail the "Vision Nutrition OUTRAGE"
    booklet by Dr. Whitaker.

His nutritional supplements are purported to cure and restore vision.

Personally, I found the "OUTRAGE" to be the exorbitant pricing
    of his "Vision essentials."

Does anybody here have any experience with this product?

    TIA

Red flags should always be raised by such claims. I imagine that his
product contains lutein, maybe bilberry and antioxidants and all.
If it is, it is no different than the myriad of other supplement brands
on the market. And most likely, quite a bit cheaper than his brand.

As on the other thread, a healthy diet with tomatoes and spinach (among
others) probably is just as effective in the long run. But I do recommend
"eye vitamins" (lutien, ACE, et al) for those in early stages of mac
    degeneration.
