    Hi...

    I started the Atkins diet first of this year, and for the last two
    weeks or so, I've started to see floaters. They're mainly apparent
    when working on the computer and I'm looking at a bright screen.
    They're not too bad, but they do bother me when trying to concentrate.

    I'm taking a multi-vitamine, but since I've drastically changed my
    diet lately, I'm thinking I might be missing something key to keep my
    eyes healthy. Any suggstions?

    Thanks for any comments or ideas. I contact my doctor and he sent me
    to an eye specialist next month... but if I can get it solved with
    nutrician before, that'd work.

    ALex.

    I think the onset of your "diet" and your floaters are purely co-incidental and
    not due to any dietary "deficiencies. Still a good idea to be seen by your eye
    care provider to rule out any retinal defects though.

    There are no nutraceuticals that I'm aware of that would eliminate your floaters;
    usually a person can "habituate" to them over time.

    Good luck on your diet- how much weight have you managed to lose BTW?
