Hi, this question is about making a slight adjustment in contact lenses power, if possible.

I have been wearing gas permeable lenses Boston EO for decades.
    The current prescription is,
    OD: -5.87; BC 8.41-40.12; DIA 9.6; and
OS: -6.00, same BC and DIA.

I want to 'increase' power for the right eye and the next step (available from the supplier) is -6.00. while the left eye would remain at the same D or equivalent to the right eye.
So my question is, is it possible to get a D value between -5.87 and -6.00 by selecting a slightly steeper or flatter BC? The current BC is to 8.41 and it can be increased +0.03 or decreased -0.02 mm. I understand that BC determines the fitting but it also has an impact on power. Also, would I be able to detect a difference between D values +/- 0.05?

    Thanks, Pierre
