starbusts

    I can see starbusts and a bit of rainbow around lights is this related to myopia or somethin I wear glasses and I suddenly realised seeing starbusts and rainbows?? I have am appointment in three months

    This is not Myopia and certainly not a critical issue as it happens to the most while aging. These starbursts like imaging and lightening on the corners of eyes indicate vitreous detachment. The vitreous is the gel-like fluid that is connected to the retina stimulate optic nerve, which further communicates with the brain and helps us to see things.

    I said it as a natural part of aging but it's important to see an expert if you are experiencing a continued colored images then this may be a sign that the retina itself is coming away from the eye.
