    Dear all,

I am an optometrist in HK. My colleague came across a case of a 50 yo
Chinese woman complaining sudden worsen of OD vision 2 days ago with no
ocular pain and headache. Her old Rx (about a year ago) was:

    OD -7.25/-1.00x105 (20/20)
    OS -4.25/-0.50X95 (20/20)

A year later she came to our office and presented the above symptoms.
General health history was unremarkalbe but she was ocular hypertensive
and receive no treatment. Aided VA was OD 20/100 (PH +ve), OS 20/20.
    Her current Rx was:

    OD -9.25/-0.75X100 (20/30)
    OS -4.00/-0.50x90 (20/20)

Slit lamp biomicroscopy was done and result was unremarkable.
Keratometry was not done but the prossibility for keratokonus was slim.
Fundus examination was not done because of "Lack of Equipments" (!!).
The Px was refered to an ophthalmologist for further examination.

I want to know the reason for her sudden increase of myopia. Thanks
    all.
