For the last year my glasses have been great. Then, in the last week the strain has been tremendous and I can barely read with them. I am recovering from influenza A and seem light sensitive. I am wondering if that is the cause. I went to the eye doc Monday. He gave me a much stronger prescription that made my eyes feel like they were screaming. I was going to vomit it was so strong and it took a ton of work to read. So I went back and saw the eye docs associate and he said that the eye doc overcorrected me and that even my first glasses were an overcorrection. He gave me a weaker prescription but it’s still not right. Hard to read things at a distance but I can read close things better. I decided to see a different eye doc at a different office and he said I had been wildly overcorrected and gave me an even weaker prescription. I hope he is right. They checked the health of eyes and told me they look good and healthy. I’m scared the next prescription will be a bust too or that it’s a neurological thing. It is strange my glasses have become such a problem. Anyone have this happen?
