    Dear Friends,

Recently, a discussion developed about the FAA Regulations.
concerning the requirements for the Private Pilot, or Third-Class
    Visual Acuity.

    Here is the site:

    http://www.cami.jccbi.gov/AAM-300/part67.html

And here is a synopsis of these regulations for Visual
    Acuity.

My point was that 20/40 naked eye is the minimum required
standard for the Third-class licence, and these regulations prove
that point -- whether you like them or not.

Hope this helps pilots who must take their Medical every two
    years.

    Enjoy,

    Otis

    Engineer

    WRONG AGAIN OTIS!!!

All pilots don't take their medical every two years. It depends on the age
of the pilot for third class pilots.

    Please see http://www.cami.jccbi.gov/aam-300/amcdfaq.html

Your synopis is wrong. The minimun is not 20/40 naked eye, it is 20/40 WITH
or WITHOUT glasses; pilots can maintain a license if they need glasses.

The minimum for naked eye is 20/40, worse than that and the pilot must use
    their glasses.

I find it very interesting that you give the wrong information and
always do so. Why do you do that when you give the URL so that we can
all read the correct information for ourselves? Very odd.
