A tiny yellow bump has appeared on the skin around my eyelashes. I thought at first, I was going to get a stye, but it's been several months. Showed it to my optometrist at my last appointment and he said not to worry about it? But what is it?

I have also found one inside my nose. It's not noticeable but what are these things??? Almost looks like a pimple.
I guess I will go to my dermatologist and see if I can get an answer. Has anybody had this issue?

Oh, I too wonder what it is. It's the first time I'm hearing a yellow bump. Why is it yellow in colour? Well, did you find out?

Is it painful? Seems like stye. But yeah, it's better to visit a dermatologist.

Based on your description of a small yellow bump around your eyelashes that has persisted for several months, it's possible that it could be a chalazion. A chalazion is a non-infectious and painless bump that develops when the oil glands in the eyelids become blocked. They typically appear as small, round, and yellowish bumps on the eyelid.

Chalazia can often resolve on their own over time, but if they persist or become bothersome, they may require medical attention
