Toric Contact Lens

Discussion in 'Contact Lenses' started by Jonathan Wolf, Sep 12, 2003.

  1. Hi,
My cylinder is -0.50 on the right eye and -0.75 on the left eye, as
you know toric contact lenses start at -0.75.

What do you recommend, using no cylinder or using -0.75 on the right
    eye?
    Thanks.

If the cyl axis is horizontal or oblique (and complimentary
right-to-left), I'd go with aspheric lenses for both eyes as a first
choice. If axis is vertical, I'd fit an apsheric on the .5 and a toric
    on the .75.
