What would "better" lens mean?

I can't stop wondering, the doctor said yesterday, not directly to me or
I would have asked (and I never saw him again after that), that next
week I might get some "better lenses" after 3 incredibly successful
weeks of Acuvue 2. What would you call a "better lens?"

I'm going to be adamant that I want to continue with Acuvue 2. He does
have a fairly large cardboard display with a bunch of trial lenses for
Focus Night & Days in the fitting room, maybe something like that he'd
consider a better lens? I might actually want to give those a try.
I'll just have to find out next week, but I really wish he'd talk to me
instead of saying more once he leaves the room. haha.

Incredibly successful? Most of your posts here to date have been about not
seeing well enough, feeling dry, feeling tired, fetting blurry in am, etc
etc with the lenses. Did you complain about this to the doctor too? If you
did, that may be why he is thinking of something better. Also, in your
other posts you mentioned attempting to sleep with these lenses, did you
tell your doctor you want sleep in lenses? that may be what he means.
Maybe he isn't happy with the fit or the vision.
why are you so stuck on Acuvue 2?

    He does
Speak up, ask questions. The doctor will be happy to answer.
