    Hello All.

I need this bio focus glass urgently. But my local optical dispenser
(eye care network in Melbourne, Australia) tolled me, that, the main
supplier in Australia no longer making such orders.

Any one knows if there is overseas supplier which can I place an order
for such prescription over the net.

    Dear Friend,

While kids may need a plus lens with a 2 inch focal length -- for
a severe medical condition (17 diopters) it is difficult to understand
why a bifocal would be prescribed.

In the interest of curiosity could you perhaps explain
the medical condition that requires a bi-focal
prescription over a plus 17 diopter lens?

    Best,

    Otis

    Dear Friend,

Please disregard Otis's postings. He is not in the medical profession and
not in any position to give medical advice!

    Thanks!

I'm in Australia too. If you can give me a day or two I'll see what I
can find out for you. Which part of Melbourne are you in?

I'd suggest asking Jim Elder to find it himself.

Ophthalmologists like to prescribe stuff that doesn't exist then blame
    the retailers for it.

The manufacturers have ditched a lot of high power lenses in the past
2 years as there is so little call for them.

    Thanks all.

I fond Optical shop in the Gladstone park shopping center and they
promise me to find what I am looking for. But I am still waiting.
