    Dear MS,

If you wish a person to make accruate measurements of his refractive
STATE, the teach the use of a trial-lens kit.

While the complete set is about $500, you can make up a set of low-
cost PRACTICAL lenses for about $60 or less.

The accuracy I get from using these trial-lenses, is about 1/4
diopters. Repeated once a month gives a excellent accuracy.

In my opinion, anyone who "teaches" threshold-prevention, should also
teach how to make this "classic", personal an objective scientific
    measurement.

Better YOU than some "third party" -- if you get my "drift".

Science and objective measurement -- and FUTURE prevention study best,
