Does the refrigerator light stay on when you close the door?

Does your chewing gum lose its flavor on the bedpost overnight?

Others may find an explanation helpful. I have killfiled whatshisname,
so didn't see the original post.

When somebody's eyes get smaller, that means they were wearing plus
lenses. When the eyes get bigger, that means they were wearing the Evil
    Minus.

When I had my high school graduation picture taken, the instructions
said to borrow some blank frames from your friendly OD, if you wore
glasses. I figured it was the photographer's problem, assuming in
ignorance that this had to do with reflections. I was wrong. Due to my
severe myopia, my eyes and the area around them, were severely shrunken.
It looked pretty bad. I had no idea I looked like that all the time.
That's one advantage of contacts over glasses for people with severe
myopia, their eyes look reasonably normal. In cartoons, the villain
always has "beady little eyes" and the heroine has "big blue eyes".
It's more than cosmetics. Eye contact is very important in
interpersonal communications, and my eyes weren't easy to see.

  4. Optical illusion. Eyes stay same size and position. Normally you see
them through his lenses, which magnify your view. He takes his glasses
off, no magnification, his eyes appear smaller (but aren't really).

.... If capitation is a head tax, why isn't decapitation a tax cut?
